Our registration kiosk supports safe and efficient patient check-in. The document scanner quickly reads identity documents and identifies the patient. Thanks to the integration with Topicus SpoedEPD, the system can also verify whether the patient has an appointment and which urgency code applies. In addition, an extra control question is asked to determine whether the patient’s symptoms have worsened. If so, the patient is directed to the reception desk immediately.

The registration system is accessible to a wide range of patients. With clear wording, translations, supportive animations and recognisable icons, patients can check in independently and with ease at the GP out-of-hours service.

Urgent cases are directed straight to reception, and walk-in patients without an appointment are informed clearly.
